Cadence – “Circling Memories, Grounded in Care”
Cadence is a multi-level intergenerational care centre that brings together aged care and childcare within one integrated environment. Guided by the concept of the continuum, the design focuses on memory, rhythm, and compassion, allowing daily life to flow naturally between generations.
The project includes 30 aged care units and a 40-place childcare centre with shared courtyards, sensory spaces, and wellness amenities such as a magnesium pool, Sound Club, and an interactive Braille Story Wall. Natural materials, bioreceptive concrete, and circular pathways strengthen the connection to care, nature, and sustainability.
Cadence reimagines institutional design as an experience of belonging, memory, and continuity.
